Anselmo Luisi is an Italian musician, performer, and educator who combines theater, rhythm, and movement into a unique expressive language.
He is the drummer and co-founder of the band Mombao, has written several theater productions, and has collaborated in the worlds of music and theater with artists such as Le Luci della Centrale Elettrica, Selton, Veronica Pivetti, and Davide Calabrese (Oblivion).
His artistic research explores the body as a sound and performative instrument, with experiences ranging from the stage to educational and community contexts. He has brought his projects to Italy and around the world, creating opportunities for connection through body and rhythm.
